Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Drive about two hours to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive among baobabs and the park's famous elephant herds, then continue to your camp or lodge.
Day 2: Into the Serengeti
Climb through the Ngorongoro highlands and descend onto the endless plains. Game drive en route to central Serengeti, arriving in time for sundowners.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
A full day of game drives across the Seronera valley: kopjes, river lines and open plains with some of Africa's best big-cat viewing. Optional sunrise hot-air balloon flight with champagne breakfast.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
