Day 1: Arusha → fly to Serengeti
A scenic light-aircraft flight over the Rift Valley to the Serengeti, met by your private guide.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
A full day of game drives across the Seronera valley: kopjes, river lines and open plains with some of Africa's best big-cat viewing.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
A full day of game drives across the Seronera valley: kopjes, river lines and open plains with some of Africa's best big-cat viewing. Sunrise balloon flight, then a private bush dinner by lantern light.
Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro
Drive to the crater rim through the highlands.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend 600 metres onto the crater floor for a full day among rhino, lion, buffalo and hippo. Picnic lunch beside the hippo pool before climbing out in the afternoon.
Day 6: Fly to Arusha
Fly from Lake Manyara airstrip to Arusha, or onward to Zanzibar.
